Church dating back to VII cent. A.C., situated in Via Giovanni XXIII shortly after the south entrance of the country town, coming from Cagliari. Today, only partially, it shows original parts, because after due restoration occurred in the 80’s of the last century, with which has been necessary an overall building revision and the construction of a modern sacristy to reutilize the Church. The structure has been modified in terms of use of materials, however keeping the original Church’s plan layout. The restoration has shown up sandstones, or ashlar, almost surely coming from the Sinis peninsula to no more than 20km from Oristano, where from about a decade has been made a quite important archeological discovery: The Giants of Mont’e Prama.
Now the Church, in spite of some time back, is open every Sunday for liturgical services and is celebrated the annual feast of the Saint.
